The Bag

After seemingly endless searching, I finally found this lovely cross-body bag by Mango.  It's the perfect mix of classic and trendy, big enough to carry the essentials, and I adore the crocodile texture!

It's due to arrive right as I do, before boarding that plane to Italy.  I can't believe it's only 19 days!!

I also did some sifting through Urban Outfitters sale section today, and picked up some basics - a white button down tunic, a black cardigan (I discovered that mine has a huge snarly hole in it the other day), and a pair of oxfords.  There's still a lot on my list, but I think I'll be doing a few big shopping trips in the week that I'm home, so there'll be some haul posts in not too long!

Ugh

So no outfit post because I've discovered a new and interesting fact...my webcam isn't working.  This seems to fit with the general theme of my MacBook Pro falling apart, seeing as the screen shell recently cracked and the charger randomly stopped working.  Lovely.

Anyways, I made a nice little jaunt over to the Mall of America, where a vurrrry attractive young man was kind enough to charge me over $80 for a new charger and tell me there was nothing to be done about the other problems. Cheers!

Unfortunately the webcam situation means no real outfit posts until I go home in two weeks-ish, where a brand spanking new camera will be waiting for me!! A Nikon Coolpix P100 if I'm not mistaken :)  You may have to excuse a slow learning curve, but at least there will be pictures.

This does present a problem though..Where can I find a non-hideous camera bag???  Any ideas?

I kind of desperately want/need these.  I just picked up Jeffrey Campbell's Splendid Heels from Nordstrom Rack, a fantastic deal, I can't wait to wear them tomorrow and put up my first outfit post!

Fall Acquisitions

So even though I leave in one month, I'm still woefully unprepared for my trip.  I'm not too bothered though, because it means I can more easily justify my fall purchases, ha!

So here's my working list of what I'm looking for..anyone have any suggestions?

THINGS I REQUIRE IN MY LIFE PREFERABLY RIGHT NOW

- a better blazer
- boots (I've been on a mission for the perfect boots since 2008, and have yet to find them.  I want a nice pair, so they have to be amazing and wonderful and lovely before I'll make the investment!)
- small cross body bag
- trench coat
- wedge booties
- new heels (note to self: at least one pair should be semi-practical)
- day dresses
- new tights/socks
- a nice button down blouse
- something with the lace trend
- a fun, full skirt
- oversize sweater
-  small clutch
- replacement skinny black belt
- watch
- umbrella (NOT BLACK - black umbrellas are so depressing, I want a cute one!)
